The SP Sump Slurry Centrifugal Vertical Submerged Slurry Pump is a vertical centrifugal submerged slurry pump, which is immersed in the liquid and used to transport abrasive, coarse particles, and high-concentration slurry. The flow parts of the SP type submerged slurry pump are made of wear-resistant metal.
It does not need any shaft seal and shaft seal water, and it can work normally under the conditions of insufficient suction.
According to the liquid level of the slurry tank, pump drive shafts or suction pipes of different lengths can be selected.
To the use of multiple speeds and multiple variants allows the pump to run under the best conditions, with long service life and high operating efficiency, which can meet many types of harsh conveying conditions.
2.Selection elements of Sump Slurry Centrifugal Vertical Submerged Slurry Pump
A Speed selection
For conveying high-concentration and strong abrasive slurry, the pump's maximum number of revolutions nmax (the highest number of revolutions in the performance curve) is generally not used, and it is more appropriate to choose a number of revolutions of about 3/4nmax. When the selected pump is at 3/4 nmax, the flow rate is appropriate but the head cannot be reached, and multiple pumps in series can be used. For Warman pumps, the flow range of different slurries must be limited; for high-concentration and highly abrasive slurries.
B Flow selection
The flow rate should be selected within the range of 40-80% of the flow rate corresponding to the highest efficiency of the pump; for low-concentration abrasive slurry, the flow rate should be selected within the range of 40%-100% of the flow rate corresponding to the highest efficiency of the pump. Generally, it is not selected in the range of 100%—120% of the highest efficiency corresponding to the flow rate.
C Material selection
The material of the vertical slurry pump needs to be determined according to the specific media parameters.
Metal material: suitable for medium containing sharp particles, such as gravel and stones. The metal material is more wear-resistant.
Rubber material: It is suitable for the case where the pH value of the medium is less than 4. The rubber material is more corrosion-resistant.
